Rusty Weston is a journalist who specializes in the corporate use of business and technology services. Weston is Editor-in-Chief of a new magazine & media brand called Global Services, the product of a JV between CMP Media in New York and CyberMedia in New Delhi. The magazine and website (globalservicesmedia.com) launched in early 2006 with the Global Services 100, a unique study that identifies the world’s most innovative service providers. Reflective of today’s collaborative services environment, Global Services’ editorial and production teams are co-located in the U.S. and India. Prior to launching Global Services, Weston was the founding editor of Managing Offshore, a newsletter for global-sourcing managers and global project managers. A 22 year veteran journalist, until recently Weston directed InformationWeek’s editorial studies, including the InformationWeek 500, Optimize Executive Reports and the U.S.’s largest IT compensation study, among other products. In his ninth year at CMP Media, Weston has also managed InformationWeek.com, which received the Jesse Neal Award in 2001, one of the U.S.’s most prestigious journalism honors. In 2004 he founded Managing Offshore, a newsletter for global sourcing managers and global project leaders. Weston, a journalism graduate of San Francisco State University, makes his home in northern California.

Bruce Williams

Mr. Williams is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Business Management Solutions Group for the webMethods Business Division of Software, AG. In this capacity, he is the senior executive responsible for the performance of the WebMethods business line, including the definition of solutions, product direction, packaging and pricing, services offerings, alliances, marketing, field readiness and revenue.
Previously, Mr. Williams was Chairman and CEO of Savvi International Corporation, a business solutions company specializing in Lean, Six Sigma and other methods and techniques of process performance improvement for businesses and organizations in emerging markets. Mr. Williams was a member of the team that formed the company and led the merger of three consulting and technology businesses in 2003. Savvi, which implements next-generation methods and technologies, is based in Scottsdale, AZ.
Mr. Williams is co-author of the 2005 publication Six Sigma for Dummies, by John Wiley & Sons, the 2006 publication Six Sigma Workbook for Dummies, and the 2007 publication Lean for Dummies. He frequently writes and speaks on topics in business and technology trends. He was previously a co-founder of The Six Sigma Management Institute, a research organization formed to lead research and development of business value methods and tools based on next-generation six-sigma principles. In this role, he pioneered e-learning techniques for process improvement training through a strategic research partnership with the University of Phoenix. Mr. Williams holds a dual Master of Engineering, in Technical Management and Computer Science, which he completed in 1988 from the University of Colorado and Johns Hopkins University.

Kiran Garimella

Kiran Garimella is Vice President, BPM Solutions, Software AG, responsible for strategy and evangelism. He chairs the company’s BPM Advisory Council, a think-tank of independent, external thought leaders in BPM and closely related disciplines. He is a frequent writer and speaker on business, management and technology and contributes to three blogs on BPM. Dr. Garimella is the author of the 2006 business novel, The Power of Process: Unleashing the Source of Competitive Advantage, for senior managers and executives in IT and business. The book has been adopted as a supplemental text at the University of Florida and Georgia State University. Passionate about evangelizing new trends in management and technology, he has spoken at Executive MBA programs for Kellogg’s; Queen’s University, Canada; Notre Dame; the Equipment Leasing Association; and the University of Florida. Dr. Garimella was the Chief Architect for GE Healthcare Financial Services, responsible for BPM, SOA integration of enterprise processes and applications, and business activity monitoring. He also was CIO for GE Healthcare Equipment Finance, where he managed an annual budget of $12MM and a global IT staff. He has also been a senior business architect, project manager, partner, management consultant and assistant professor of business. Dr. Garimella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, an MS in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Decision and Information Sciences from the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida. He is Six-Sigma Green-Belt certified and Black-Belt trained at GE. He serves as an advisor to the International Institute of Business Analysts.

Michael Lees

Michael Lees is Senior Director, Product Marketing, BPMS, at Software AG and is responsible for global product marketing initiatives for the company’s BPM product line. Prior to joining Software AG/webMethods, Mr. Lees was founder and CEO of Cerebra, Inc., a leader in metadata management solutions. Cerebra, originally located in the U.K., moved to the U.S. in 2004 and was acquired by webMethods in 2006. Mr. Lees has worked with many large corporate and federal organizations on their use of metadata and semantic technologies as enablers (along with BPM and SOA) of agile business, information and IT strategies. Mr. Lees is a graduate of Durham University (Business Economics) and is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to founding Cerebra, he was a technology analyst and technology fund manager for one of the U.K.’s largest investment houses.

John R. Rymer

John serves Application Development & Program Management professionals. He is a leading expert on the market for application platforms and infrastructure software for building and running applications. Included in his coverage are the Java/J2EE application servers from BEA, IBM, JBoss, Oracle, SAP, and Sun Microsystems and the equivalent portions of Microsoft's .NET platform. John also covers the business rules platforms market.
John came to Forrester through its acquisition of Giga Information Group and has a combined total of six years with the company. He has worked as an industry analyst in middleware for more than 12 years, starting in 1989. John's industry experience includes a stint as vice president of product marketing for IONA Technologies, where he gained firsthand experience in creating and executing market strategies.
Before joining IONA, John was principal consultant and founder of Upstream Consulting, a vendor-strategy consulting group within Fleishman-Hillard International Communications.
John graduated from Ohio University with a B.S. in journalism.

Michael Melenovsky
Vice President, Consulting and Enterprise Solutions Group, Satyam
Michael Melenovsky is Vice President of Satyam’s Consulting and Enterprise Solutions Group with focus on Business Process Management (BPM). In this senior leadership role, he works closely with Satyam clients to assure successful adoption of process-management practices.
Prior to joining Satyam, Mr. Melenovsky served as Director of Business Process Management at Gartner where he engaged with Global 1000 companies assisting them with best practices and organizational readiness. As a proven leader and visionary, Michael held several senior leadership positions throughout his career. As a Senior Vice President at IDC he led the firm’s worldwide services and vertical markets groups. At Rockwell International he led the start-up of customer services operations for the industrial automation group and served on corporate strategic planning.
Mr. Melenovsky earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, studied for his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Hartford, and most recently completed courses at Harvard Business School with Leading Change and Organizational Renewal.
